The Persevere Bar and Restaurant:

Sharing its name with the motto of the area The Persevere is quintessentially a Leith bar and is also known affectionately as 'The Percy' by the locals.

With a gorgeous suite of Victorian rooms - original Spanish mahogany, late nineteenth century tiled murals, splendid green leather seating - the Persevere Bar and Restaurant comprises features that are long gone from most of Britain and are well worth seeing.

And the atmosphere too is well worth coming along to experience - a great selection of beers and spirits and a wide, traditional pub-fare menu, all fairly priced. Everyone is catered for as the place is both family and vegetarian friendly.

Tuesday is Poker Night, Starting 7:30pm

Poker is now becoming a popular pastime in the UK but there are still very few comfortable and friendly venues in which to play. The Persevere Bar and Restaurant solves this problem by offering a regular Poker Night in an atmosphere where everyone is welcome.
